We have a sequence of operations by which the leather upper is skived, split, zigzagged, stitched, and sewn together.
Primarily you would be taking the mentioned pieces and sewing them together.
Job Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for 10 hours.
Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
Reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling obligations.
Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.
Must be honest and ethical.
Ability to read, write and understand instruction detail written, printed, and communicated in English.
Basic math skills, proportions, circumference, volume, and ability to read tape measure where required.
Active listening - giving full attention to training and other instructional information; asking questions as appropriate.
Ability to accept directions and constructive criticism.
Speaking - conveying information effectively.
Thorough in completing work tasks as required.
Ability to get along with others and work in a team environment with an enthusiastic outlook.

Ability to use hands and fingers in a skillful coordinated way.
Good manual dexterity and finger coordination is required to manipulate shoemaker tools, equipment, and materials.
Handle work area, tools, and machines appropriately.

Complies with company Drug and Alcohol Policy.
Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds.
Performs or assists in other factory functions as needed.
