nThis social services position earns a competitive wage of $22 - $23/hour, depending on experience.

n nYOUR DAY AS A DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP)nAs a Direct Support Professional, you work in a group living setting serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
You provide the necessary support to enhance their quality of life while following specified individual service plans (ISPs).
Some of your day will be spent assisting individuals with their personal needs, like lifting them in and out of wheelchairs as well as helping with self-care and hygiene.
You will also be providing support with skill building.
You help promote new activities, socialization, and community engagement.
nYou interact with other staff members and supervisors to provide additional support where needed.
You stay informed of our emergency protocols in case of a crisis and ensure that the facility remains clean and all supplies are organized.
